Infrastructure Materials Research
I am an Assistant Professor in the Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering department at the University of Alabama. I received a B.S. in Material Science Engineering from Clemson University and a M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I was previously a post-doctoral scholar at Oregon State University and have been the PI or Co-PI on projects for the Alabama, South Carolina, Maryland, and Oregon Departments of Transportation. I am also a professional engineer registered in Alabama, South Carolina, Florida, and Oregon and am the Secretary/Treasurer for the International Society for Concrete Pavements.
